Dean Park Pizza - Shrewsbury

My husband and I took our grandchildren and several neighborhood kids to see Halloween displays on the Saturday night before Halloween. We were having such a good time, we decided to go out for pizza. We were nervous when we walked in to Dean Park Pizza and it was packed. We expected to have to wait but the friendly staff brought us right back to two tables they pulled together. The pizza was very good and our servers were attentive and patient....even as 7 excited kids shouted out their drink orders. The atmosphere is super casual and lively...not for a romantic date, but perfect for a quick bite with the kids.

I 've ordered here quite a few times. It 's very common pizza place food, but their milkshakes are divine. The clam strip are also great. That being said, I ordered a grilled veggie wrap and a chicken Ceasar salad this time and the food was inedible. I couldn 't chew the chicken (I sat there and chewed on one bite for 5 minutes trying to break it down to no avail) and the veggies were still hard and very very crunchy with no flavor. I 'm disappointed. But, if you want a mean milkshake and some clam strips, they 're great for it.

This is a great neighborhood restaurant. Food is consistent, and full of flavor. Service is top notch, especially if Ciaran is working the take out. We're lucky to be close to a great establishment like this. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
