Thai D Food - Shrewsbury

We have big fans of food here. Maybe a free day, as others we know, had mpre positive experiences, but it was quite expensive for the portion size, flavors were ok, but many coconut milk, veg type swimming in the sauce and not in a good way.

I initially believed that there was only one vegan option on the menu, as most dishes seemed to contain meat or fish. However, I discovered that nearly all of their menu items can be prepared vegan upon request, which I thought was fantastic. If any dishes are poorly seasoned, the staff is very accommodating and willing to make adjustments. This is an update based on my previous review from March 23, 2022.

We are big fans of dining here. Perhaps we visited on an off day, as others we know have had more positive experiences. However, we found it quite expensive for the portion size. The flavors were okay, but there was an excessive amount of coconut milk, with vegetables floating in the sauce rather than being presented nicely.

However, I later discovered that almost the entire menu can be made vegan upon request. I found that to be really great. If you're not good with spicy food, they are very accommodating. I had heard from others that this restaurant was quite nice, so I was looking forward to trying it out. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. It didn't come close to the quality of Thai food I've enjoyed elsewhere. While there were some vegetarian and vegan options available, I found the dishes lacking in flavor. Overall, it was a mediocre experience that didn't leave a lasting impression. This is an update to my previous review from May 26, 2023.
