We had a nice lunch in the bridges today. I arrived with my parents and my two-year-old daughter, a little roaring and needed a quick bite for a rather restless little child! the gentleman at the bar was so helpful and accommodating and brought out a small sandwich and a few chips in super short time. our pork and salate followed and were delicious. some great ales and apfel wines on the tap we have a few small tastes and loved the local long mynd zider. around the service was fab and the pub was warm and welcoming. I am very pleased to return.
I had salt kabeljau croquettes with aloli my man had shropshire rabbit and dressed salat the meal came under the service was excellent with a very friendly barman waiter who could not do enough for us. it's a dog-friendly pub. that was great for us our dog belle went for a paddle in the stream and loved it. I will recommend
We just came back from a wonderful lunch in the bridges inn, after a walk. I couldn't resist the review below. we were served by a lovely young man, tristan, who quickly and cheerfully cared for us. the most important...Dishes looked tempting, but when we wanted something light, I chose the shropshire rarebit, which is nothing like cheese on toast, but right made with ale and senf and burst with taste. the salad leaves were fresh with a complementary sweet and tangy dressing. I followed this with homemade celestial and camouflaged eiseis for which was to die. my man chose the mackerel pate and toast with salat he said was delicious (and we shared a bowl of crispy thin chips). he followed with a very good cup coffee. apart from its beautiful location on the strom, photos do not just the atmosphere in the old gasthof. it is full of character and we would have spent a few hours with it fortunately. we arrived the afternoon when the pub was empty, but from there several tables were taken. tristan and the nice lady from the kitchen managed the order intake very well and attentive. we will definitely visit again and recommend the bridges as first class country inn.
We went to this restaurant for lunch today and were disappointed with the limited and expensive menu. I decided to go for a light lunch option and chose the Shropshire Rarebit. When it arrived, I was surprised to see just one slice of bread with melted cheese on top and a side of not-so-fresh green leaf salad. The dish cost me over five pounds, which I felt was excessive for what I received. However, I did enjoy the beer. Overall, we were not impressed with our experience and do not plan on returning.
