Bishops Castle Fish - Shropshire

We weren’t happy with the quality of the food the first time we went, but we thought we would give them another try, shouldn’t have bothered, small portions which wouldn’t have been a problem if the quality was good, we had the fried chicken eight pieces and fries , chips were okay but the quantity was very poor, not enough for two , as for the chicken it was soggy not crispy but very rubbery we only ate two pieces, it was awful, a total waste of £13 or so , sorry we will not be going back, it’s up to you if you want to try it it , put for us once bitten well twice shy third time never again

2 stars to the fish. No stars to the soggy chips and batter. The oil tasted stale and overused. I left most of my chips and batter. In these Covid times they only accept cash!

We we staying in the area tried this place out one night, lovely fresh food we all really enjoyed!

Best fish and chips anywhere in the country, The batter is to die for. Lovely helpful staff make this a real treat.

Had a fantastic lunch on Saturday Afternoon waited for the fish to be cooked, but well worth a few minutes of anyone's time, Fish Chips with a side of Curry Sauce, the Fish was cooked to perfection, good portion size and the chips were top notch as well
