Friendly estate pub, where home and away supporters were all welcome and atmosphere was relaxed with some great beers on draft and plenty of bar staff on hand. Nice to be able to feel safe on match day and enjoy a good pint.
I read a review of the food from here in a free magazine and have been determined to try it out ever since, as someone who spends large swathes of time in hospital, some home cooked food is something that I have been craving, the food in Rsh is surprisingly good but I really wanted a traditional Sunday roast, I messaged the chef/owner and received a very helpful response giving me the choice of 4 meats and various timings, I asked for the roast pork to be delivered at 2pm to the hospital, at exactly 2pm a very polite and curtious driver delivered my lunch in a thermal box wrapped in foil and film so the contents were piping hot, I duly tucked into my roast pork (succulent), crackling, savoy cabbage, carrots, peas, stuffing, mash, roast potatoes, Yorkshire pud and lovely thick gravy and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. Definitely recommend and will be using the service again, oh and no washing up is a bonus
Regulars “pub” wouldn’t go in if not a regular, looks like it could do with a refurb and a lick of paint
This is the second visit and I have to say what a change in appearance. I cannot say too much about the food as only match day snacks were available, these were reasonable priced and OK to eat. However there was a good selection of Real Ales I selected the Guest Beer that was very good and well worth the visit
We had a meal laid on for 40 people and we were made very welcome and the staff where very good and helpful, the food was a full roast and was great, there was bags of room and the lay out worked well, the place was clean and tidy and good parking area, we will go again.
