We were welcomed immediately by friendly and attentive staff...and reassured to see Covid restrictions adhered to very professionally. The pub itself has had a beautiful make-over during lockdown and it is more spacious and bright. We had pre-ordered food a variety of snacks and meals all were absolutely delicious. Any dietary requests had been accommodated and noted on delivery, compliments to the chef. The staff ensured that all was well and table service was excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable lunch would certainly recommend.
A wonderful discovery as an alternative to the motorway service station stops we normally make en route to Snowdonia. We popped in for lunch and we’re really impressed with the quality of the food decent portions and variety for the kids and adults. Food can be ordered via the app which might delight the tech savvy but frustrate those who are not so used to mobile ordering. Very friendly service and dog friendly. Only suggestion would be to make more of the outdoor area which is quite ugly compared to the ornate interior.
Beautiful location lovely setting. Quaint country pub with amazing food. We were a table of six lunch time menu highly recommend the flat breads and the Mexican chicken burger Great friendly service with a good gin selection we will be returning on our next visit to the area
We stopped for lunch on the way home and both ordered the burgers one steak burger and one chicken burger. Both were excellent well cooked and with a fresh salad. The taste and quality were second to none. Great atmosphere and very relaxing.
Absolutely loved this place ! The hosts were amazing , customer service brilliant and the food was so delicious! The majority of my family are either vegetarian or vegan and the choice was lovely . Portions were huge and we left with very full belly’s ! Also the presentation of the dishes was great We are going back again in a few days on our return journey back home
