I have had the worse experience ever on my hennight i will never want to recommend this hotel to anyone I came to this hotel on the 8/7/23 i booked a hotel room and a half day a spa day i should of been in my room by 3pm but they made me wait around till 3:50pm and in my eyes that is not right taking a full payment from a customer and making them wait and the staff there have repeated lied when i made forward complaint to the manager name mark that we never said the room was not ready and you have to wait around plus on top of that i had shower and the shower would not turn off in the room nothing was explained how the wifi is connected plus when it came to my body massage the lady never came 10minutes early infact she was 5minutes late. Its quiet sad they take full payment and treat customers like this. The manager name Mark who i made a forward complaint to said my staff are not lieing how can anyone say that you should be checking cameras in the spa reception that a customer been waitting calls should be recorded where hotel to spa calls are not i just cant believe the stress i have had and this experience. I wont ever be going back there to be treated differently again and waste my money Mark i have read your respond and i can clearly say to you your spa staff has completely have lied your saying you have seen the cctv camera in the spa then you should clearly see in the spa area i am standing waitting there and the lady at the spa reception clearly says to me i need to wait 30minutes here as your room is not ready yet then one of us will take you to the reception where you can check in you can clearly see in the cctv the gentle man in the camera who walked me to the reception my treatment was finished by 3:13pm i was waitting from 3:15pm to 3:50pm Your staff has made a mistake which no one wants to come forward and say they have made a mistake I will not be visiting your hotel again and i do not want anymore replies back from your hotel staff as its like im repeating myself and what im saying is being ignored my hennight girls was with me and they know what has happened Thanks Reena

Went purely for the Spa and afternoon tea and was not disappointed. The massage was fantastic, the spa facilities clean and comfortable. The afternoon tea was great and the staff very kind and accommodating. Overall a wonderful day.

Was put in a horrendous room which was absolutely filthy! Gave them a chance and Told the staff I have allergy issues and needed it to be cleaned while we were out… it wasn’t. The pics I have attached are from when we returned (late) to the hotel next morning they moved us into a better room for the next night. As as result I suffered from allergy symptoms the next day. The receptionist told us to write to management regarding the room, I expected a refund for the night we stayed in that filthy room and they only offered 50% of that night insulting to say to the least! Would not recommend.

I had a lovely birthday trip here! We had a half spa day including a treatment followed by afternoon tea. We both had a great time, thank you!

Booked for an overnight bee keeping experience that was terrific in itself. It was the hotel service that's the problem....Superior room was very nice with nice additions but oh dear, to eat and drink here is beyond rubbish. First the bar, I went up to the bar and it took 5 minutes to get served, no one in attendance. When I did eventually get served, I ordered a glass of prosecco which was mean fully poured into a measuring cup before pouring into a flute. I've actually brought hundreds of glasses of prosecco and cava and I've never seen it measured out before!! Is it any wonder it was warm and flat?? It was sent back. It happened again later at dinner. This was also not right...shown to our table, staff went missing for 5 minutes and then bread rolls were brought to us. Where was the offer of drinks, menus and general guidance of how the carvery works. The food was acceptable however. Breakfast was actually very good and thoroughly enjoyed. Maybe because we turned up on Father's Day and it had been a busy service so the staff had had enough but we won't return now.
