Chicago Cut Steakhouse - side

A little disappointing. Overall meal was good, not great and really not great at the prices this restaurant charges higher than the other nice steakhouses I have frequented. Martinis were watery (over shaken I guess) and apps were extremely pricey for what you get. Small Caesar salad (small house salad size) $21 was crazy and the size of the sides were not typical shareable steakhouse size sides (also very overpriced for the small amount of food). Steak was good and I did finish the 14oz rib eye, so at least that part of the meal worked OK. In summary, you are paying a premium to be on the river and the place was very busy on a Friday night, so probably a popular place for the expense account crowd.

The view, the service make the meal even better. I suggest the patio during good weather. Or near the glass wall too see the waterfront while dining.

Went there for dinner on a Friday night and every aspect was fantastic! We sat outside and it was a perfect night. We started with the a Sushi special and a tomato peach burata salad, both were amazing. i had the alaskan halibut and my wife had the chilean sea bass, both were cooked perfectly and delicious! Service was fantastic! Also I’m gluten free and they were very accommodating! Highly suggest!

The best of Chicago!! Food, service, staff, location. No matter what you order--salad, seafood, steaks--it will be prepared to your specification and served beautifully. The staff are professional and perfectionists. the location along the river makes for a delightful outdoor dining experience.

If I could leave more stars than I can I would. Victor was our server. By far one of the best service I have ever received. He treated me and my date like family and was so thorough with every menu item we had questions about. To the owner: please give him my praise. Víctor was absolutely phenomenal and made sure to go the extra mile every step of the way to give us the best experience at Chicago Cut. I will be recommending all my friends and family. Of course it’s pricey, but the food is more amazing when the service stands out. The view near the lake was also wonderful. We had requested to sit closer to the lake, we knew it would be a bit difficult but we figured it didn’t hurt to ask and Victor was able to help us out all with a huge smile on his face. If there’s any reason I come back, it will be for Victor. My compliments to the chef and the server/staff. I’d give 10 stars if I could. Bravo.
