Great place for a beer and food. The service is always great. I have had great experiences.

The food here was excellent! I'm always on the lookout for pot pie as it's a pretty rare find, and their's was fabulous! The atmisphere was cozy and the waitress was in the ball and super nice. I'd highly recommend visiting here if you're in the neighborhood.

We asked the desk clerk at our hotel for her recommendation for a place to grab a bite and a drink and she recommended D4. This was going to be our first meal/drink in Chicago so we didn't have any expectations. When we walked in the ambience was low key, the menu looked great and the drinks were delicious…we had a couple. Our server was very nice and the music…was…AWESOME!!! If you are in the area definitely try D4 for a nice relaxed enjoyable meal and drink!

The food was nothing out of the ordinary but the place was very nice. We sat by the fireplace and our server was very kind. They have a good variety on beer which allowed us to taste a few ones. Side dishes are really big, so take that on mind.
