Gibsons Steakhouse - side

Attended Gibsons for my birthday dinner. I had booked a table less than a week in advance. I arrived at the restaurant approximately 10 minutes early from by reservation time and I was seated quite promptly. The atmosphere was great and it was busy in the restaurant the Saturday evening I attended. I had great customer service from my server and the food was delicious. You pay a premium for dining at this establishment but for the quality and service, I feel it was worth it.

We had a party of 16 and the staff sat 12 of us at a large, round table and 4 in an adjacent booth. The server, Amanda was outstanding! She displayed and explained the finer cuts of meat tableside. She took terrific care of our large group.

Old school steakhouse that does it better than most Amazing history iconic restaurant

Came in for lunch at 1pm. When i walked in there was no one available to check in with for a table for 1 until i asked a worker if i could get a table. My waitress gave me pleny of time to look at the menu and order my food and drink. Ordered the Charboiled burger medium rare. The burger was properly cooked but it was over seasoned. The paloma drink was pretty damn good.

What is fun experience! Great service by the new restaurant manager, James. The desserts are absolutely to die for. Strawberry shortcake is in season and run don’t walk! What a fun old school vibe I love the decor and all of the photos throughout the main entrance. My father loved the ribs and wedge salad. Can’t wait to come back!
