Not impressed. The Jerk chicken that was on the Online menu was not available. The Online menu needs to be updated.,also beverage options online didn't accurately reflect what was actually available. The service was very S L O W!!! Nothing met my expectations. The fry chicken was just okay. The weirdest small sized legs,thighs and chicken breast I have ever seen. The Mac n cheese was undercooked elbow pasta and the flavor profile could be better. The cornbread tasted like jiffy mix not homemade … – show

This is one of the best restaurants in Lincoln Square. We reliably return to Luella's when we are craving fried chicken. Their waffles are also excellent, not too sweet and a little bit bready. I recommend the cornbread or buttermilk biscuits, as both are terrific appetizers. Be prepared to take some food home, since the portion sizes are also pretty generous.
