Rye Deli Drink - side

I had the za'atar bagel with roasted eggplant labneh. The za'atar blend is herb forward and delicious 5/5. The bagel texture was great: chewy and suple 5/5. The eggplant spread was lemon forward (maybe heavy handed) and cold. If possible with food safety standards, I think having it served slightly less cold would balance the flavor and experience 4/5. The interior was bright and inviting 5/5. I will certainly visit again.

Stayed at the Crowne Plaza and had a wonderful experience at the Rye Deli this morning (12/5/21). Excellent customer service, bagels were delicious, and everything was prepared and served promptly.

The menu was very interesting and unique, and the food was delicious. The cuisine seems to be a mix of Levantine and Ashkenazy, with a little North African thrown in. I had the half Smoked Chicken, which came with hummous and roasted root vegetables, and an assortment of radishes. The flavors were terrific. The staff is kind of minimal at the moment, so you go up to the counter and order, and then get your wine and go grab a table or booth. Door was open but was refused service, while 3 other people carried on. Maybe a Mexican thing,..One can only wonder.

Nice dining area, turkey sandwich was good but reuben sandwich was salty dry and not easy to eat.
