Sidekick's Entertainment Lounge

Been here twice now and it's been good both times. Kitchens is closed so nothing to eat other than frozen pizza which I can't have. Karaoke is not bad. The sound system is lacking and the catalog is.... Meh. But overall the atmosphere makes up for the shortcomings. And the booze is kinda cheap. Cash only.

Best bar in Chicago. Hands down. Brilliant staff (Shout out to Karen and Lenny). Genuine experience. Leave your nonesence at the door.

Stopped by after Ubering 09/16 3:15 but they were already closed and staff were just leaving after cleaning. Assume it may no longer be a 4AM place due to Covid restriction or lack of biz late “on a school/work night”. Haven't been here since 1990's — 2000's when my GF at the time, Wanda was a regular. We closed this place way, way, too often on Friday's Saturday's. Glad to see it is still getting great reviews and will visit again.

Sidekicks is my all time favorite karaoke bar! The staff are really friendly and welcoming, the vibe is fun and I've had a blast EVERY time I've been there.
