Which may be partly why service is terrible. No incentive. But quality of food should have nothing to do with incentive. And the cooks probably understand and can speak English , can’t image what the excuse could be for poor quality food at a resort that advertises ‘amazing food’. I would advise staying and eating off site and day trip in to see Dorothy Drapers interior and the amazing buildings.
Not the best rooftop when raining. It took them a long time to even open the gate to get in while we stood outside getting absolutely soaked. There’s a teeny tiny area that’s indoors and the rest is open to the outdoors. Good beer selection, food was very basic. I’d look into other rooftops next time.
Tree Tops is the pool restaurant at The Greenbrier. We had lunch on a Wednesday and there was plenty of seating (they will also provide service poolside). The menu is mostly sandwiches and salads. The food was good and service was attentive with resort pricing.
It was a good time. Couldn't see the game super well. Still had a blast going there. Food was good and beer was flowing. Wish they had mixed drinks. My only other complaint is that they need more tv's of other sporting events that is not the Cubs games. NBA playoffs were on and i had to watch on my phone.
This is a great option whether you're using the outdoor pool or not. Nice variety of sandwiches and salads. We enjoyed the corn dog appetizer, club sandwich and burger. All very tasty.
