Why do people come here when the food is so so bad?

Super cute brunch spot downtown Chicago in the train station. Ambiance was lovely and the location was very clean including the restroom. The food was very plain but pretty. The taste was fresh ingredients but no seasoning. The server was excellent with speedy, prompt, efficient service. I’ll return with some seasoning blend in my purse!

So, everything was great. Eggs, bacon, potatoes…but, the batter used for pancakes and waffles create a mushy center. Clearly the batter is to thick. Easy fix, add a little water. Come on Yolk, it's a breakfast joint. Step up your waffle and pancake game. Chef Gio Zato

Food was amazing, service was fast and Clair “cheech” was a wonderful server. Definitely come eat here well worth it.

Great downtown location!!! The menu was the same run of the mill menu that can be found at Denny’s, IHOP, Sharis or any basic breakfast place. Would I go there again? YES if I am in downtown Chicago with friends and want a place to eat. Is it worth $28-$30 per person that we spent on breakfast? For the food the answer is negative. The location and the company, YES.
