Pelicanos Cafe and Bakery - Sidney

I come here for the Eggs Benedict with salmon, and a freshly baked bagel with poppy seeds. Fresh and yummy! Their baked desserts are good too. Other things have been a bit hit and miss, e.g. their “fresh juice” which is a blend of frozen fruit and juice from the supermarket. The service is often by young people who can barely speak English and don’t really know what they are doing. Overall though it is a nice little spot for a quick bite in the city for a person or two.

Fantastic little cafe tucked down an alley. We ordered the Abercrombie Platter and it was amazing. I especially loved the tomato relish. We’ll definitely be back! They accept eftpos/credit cards.

First of all, I think Halifax and surrounding area is severely lacking in good Chinese food.

We did a large pick up order from the garden view Chinese restaurantI had the chicken balls rice and egg roll combo..

I didn't mind this restaurant, it was hard not to let the one star reviews cloud my judgement.
