The Madlbauer offers good Bavarian and Croatian dishes, but is also well suited for the bread time between or coffee and cakes. Located directly on the beach and the public lawn of Lake Thumsee, you can always take a nice break there. The staff is super friendly and makes some special request possible. The terrace offers a beautiful on Lake Thumsee.

Sunday evening reserved for 9 persons. It was of course full of weather, but if there are so long waiting times (1h15) it should be noted on the map or it is pointed out. During a hike we came past this nice cafe/restaurant and briefly returned. Only a small meal taken, but in a very cozy and friendly atmosphere. From the terrace you have a beautiful view of the lake and the mountain landscape. Unobtrusive and at the same time very hospitable service and destined for another visit.
