We might have been unlucky with our meal choices but we were disappointed by the food. the sweet and sour tofu was pretty bland (though very generous portion of tofu) and the fermented tofu dish came with lots of raw aubergine which is quite unpleasant to eat! We did however see otherdishes come out that looked very good.
I just had a soup because I didn’t feel good. The soup was very delicious. It was a big portion with rice. The menu offers a lot of different things (vegan and vegetarian). The stuff and the place is just amazing.
The food was decent but it felt like there was something missing. It’s definitely a westernised restaurant catering for tourists and expats which probably explains the food. Also a bit pricey in comparison to some other places but a nice place to stop for a meal.
Our VeganTravelAsia tour group was treated to a great vegan tasting menu from the chef. skewered (king oyster? mushroom on papaya salad leek, seaweed, amok(? gluten free “key lime pie” with strawberry coulis Updated from previous review on 2023 12 26
The banh mi at this restaurant was exceptional, unlike any other banh mi I've had before. It was packed with protein and very delicious. The side salad was also great, with a flavorful dressing. I enjoyed the fermented soy dip with a variety of raw vegetables to dip in it. The raw eggplant wasn't my favorite, but overall it was a good value with a generous amount of protein.
