Country House - Sierra Vista

Maybe not the place when you are concerned about the people in your environment, adhering to social distancing or pandemic protocols, but the food is amazing. The GIANT Land roasted steak eggs is my favorite. The Supreme Omelette is yet another favorite and they definitely have the best French toasts in a large radius.

I've been coming here for years. I liked the food and enjoy talking to the waitresses. Today I ordered a cook salad. The salad is HUGE. $13 but for me, worth every penny. This is the complete order. Thank you.

Food is decent. Decor and atmosphere is similar to an old house. Most older people eat here so expect to scream to save batteries on hearing aids. The worst part was how slow the service was, but the server seemed to try the best to get back sometime. I think her breakfast was better than lunch. If you go for lunch, try the corn engravings they were so good.

After having some really bad experiences in other restaurants, I wondered if my service standards were too high, but then I came to the country house and was reminded of what good service really was all. Our server was friendly and professional and made me feel at home. With Skyrocketing prices everywhere I was amazing how much food I got for $15. I've got the meat pot and I got it with a soup, cornbread, potatoes and Cole Slav. There was so much food that I did not even notice that the Cole was missing but the waitress did and she gave me some to go at the end of the meal. There was so much food that it fed me for lunch and diner the next day. I have to say this is my new favorite place to eat in Sierra Vista.

Over all experience was good. They probably were understaffed like every place else. But the wait for food and to be checked on took a little long. We ran out of drinks and had to wait for refills. Finished our food before drink refills. Would i recommend this restaurant? Yes I would. Food was really good.
