The Landmark Cafe, Inc - Sierra Vista

The staff here is wonderfully friendly, and the food is delicious! We tried the breakfast bowl and the breakfast quesadillas, both of which were fantastic. They also host special events featuring live music, making it a favorite spot for the locals.

The outdoor seating area is quite nice. The service was acceptable, but not exceptional. It's worth noting that the coffee and restaurant operate as separate entities. The coffee is good, although be aware that they add extra charges for certain items (like whipped cream) without mentioning it upfront. I tried the spicy chorizo Benedict, and if you enjoy Benedicts and spicy chorizo, you'll likely appreciate this dish. At $12, it's a reasonable price, though it's not very filling—then again, Benedicts typically aren't. The place was quite busy on a Saturday morning, but I was able to find a table without having to wait. I would consider returning in the future.

We're from the Midwest, where many restaurants offer fish fry on Fridays. We had heard that Landmark also had a fish special, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, the fish was excessively battered and overcooked, making it nearly inedible. My fries were also overcooked and lacked any seasoning. While the service was good, based on this experience, I doubt we will return. Having worked in the food service industry for over 25 years, I can confidently say that no food would have left my kitchen in the condition that our fish was served to us.

This place was recommended by a local mechanic as his favorite breakfast place. It was wonderful! I sat outside on the covered veranda. The waitstaff was very friendly, timely and helpful. The food and coffee were excellent. Lots of indoor seating. Obviously a popular place as most tables inside were full late morning on a Friday. Extensive menu. Reasonable prices.

We waited 25 minutes to order our food so on the way out the door Ashlee started apologizing for not taking care of us. We stayed and eat some good fried fish. Ashlee only came over to check on us when I called her over. Too bad our visit was ruined by one person. Won't be back.
