This shop have food with reasonable price. Plus, There's alot on the plate too. Good for relaxing and reading (if the other customer is quiet... . Would really recommend u to go there. And also, they r going to have a playground for kids with upstairs for parent to watch over the kids too. Pretty cool for a cafe eh? Update, theres pub at night n bakery too.
Really good food am not even exaggerating! Comfy and chill atmosphere. Also the staffs are respectful and welcoming!
I feel compelled to warn other customers to avoid this location at all costs as I today and out of the blue got unexpectedly asked to leave the premises then verbally assaulted when I was giving feedback and trying to understand what was going on. I don't really understand who was that person who seems to be very emotionally unstable although it seemed to be some young teenage technician who was installing LEDs ? The very friendly waiter cashier was in shock and did not know how to help me which was unfortunate but I don't blame him either. Although I have been going there on a regular basis, sometimes ordering lunch, drinks and some other times only a pastry, the staff told me today with a sad face that he suddenly got feedback from the owner who apparently watches customers on the cameras that it is not allowed to use the wifi for more than 2 hours if one just orders a pastry... While this totally makes sense in busy cafés where it would be very bad étiquette to prevent other customers from sitting down and ordering a meal if one does not order a sensible amount, it makes zero sense when 3 4 of the tables are empty, most aircon units need servicing and don't work and when I end up tethering my mobile data on a regular basis since the wifi keeps crashing... As a regular customer who has seen the place gradually loose customers while insisting on repainting the walls and changing the lights when it is obvious that the root cause for the business decline is elsewhere, I find it quite dissapointing. To be fair, Ocean Box had it easy when there were few modern cafés in SIhanoukville which is no longer the case and management is perhaps busy on other projects not hands-on enough to realise the situation. I do give a shoutout to the waiters and staff who are these days all very nice and who should perhaps attempt to work in the trendy new cafés like Pel Velea, Se Détendre Café or Greenery Café. Sure, seeing your business decline is not easy but getting edgy, not repairing aircons, not turning on lights, bumping prices and now asking customers to leave does not sound like a relaxing environment customers want to patronize.
Lovely space. Very nice baked good and great coffee.
