Need to be quicker at serving and use salt and vinegar

Purchased fish and chips last Tuesday and the piece of fish I had was probably the best I have had. Crispy batter and moist well cooked fish. Fried while I waited. Brilliant.

Went today bought 2 fish and chips which were uneatable and they went in the bin.ordered a buttered roll which she charged £1 which only had a scrape of what looked like margarine on,disgusting.Fish was dripping in grease chips looked liked they had been reheated more than once and were cold.Will definitely not be back I’ve never ever seen anything like it.Only got 1 star as it wouldn’t let you give none

I visit Silloth on a regular basis, John's Plaice is always and has always been my first stop for a good hearty meal, I'm no chip shop conesseur but I've always received EXCELLENT service! The food is well priced and delicious, as for the service always a great experience so friendly and helpful. Thank you guys for an excellent service and best wishes for many more years to come. VIST SILLOTH, VISIT THE BEST.

Its a basic chippy, friendly staff chips were decent portions reasonably priced
