Restaurant Waldhaus - Sils/Segl Maria

We, four, had a nice time again in this wonderful room and restaurant during our stay at the Engadin. Food, drink and service were, as usual, top class. We will always return.

During a summer trip in the mountains we spent a night in the forest house. Unfortunately, our expectations were not really met....

Every meal is presented excellently and delicious. Breakfast is a huge room with buffets of incredible variety. Dinner is 100% gourmet. The servers are efficient and friendly.

Pleasant mood, great service and amazing retro ambiance. From the cutlery to the plates, everything screams old school and elegance from a past era. The food was good, but not amazing. We had soups and salad which were fine-dining standard, but the presentation of the main courses was a bit stuck in the 80s or 90s, even though the taste was good. The choice of wines was so so. The service was very kind and attentive but a tad overwhelming as different people kept asking us if everything was fine, like 4 or 5 times.

Lovely setting nice for a little romance, the food was excellent great salad bar and very yummy puddings, service was formal but not stuffy the staff were nice
