Crisp Juicy - Silver Spring

I didn't snap any photos because I was both starving and tired, but this place is truly fantastic! I ordered half a chicken with two sides: a salad and french fries. Everything was delicious, and the yellow sauce complemented the dish perfectly. I will admit that the chicken skin was a bit salty, but it wasn't overwhelming; I might have noticed it more since I usually prefer less seasoning and salt in my meals. You should definitely check this place out and let me know what you think—I've rated them five stars! They also stay open late on weekends, and everything was just right. With great food and excellent customer service, I can't wait to return and hopefully take some photos next time!

I typically don't write food reviews, but after suffering from food poisoning, I feel compelled to share my experience. I ordered from this restaurant on May 6, 2023, during lunchtime. The chicken was overly salted and lacked any real flavor—just a mouthful of salt. The rice was unappetizing; I took one bite and threw it away. The only redeeming item was the French fries. The green sauce was a disappointment as well, lacking any spice and tasting like diluted blended cilantro. Shortly after eating, I began to feel ill, and now I'm stuck at home dealing with the effects of food poisoning. I strongly advise you to stay away!

The dark meat was flavorful but a little dry. The French fries were crunchy but tasted bland. I had the house salad with a little of the Italian dressing and it was okay. I'd probably come back when I need a quick and cheap bite to eat. Update: when I visited a couple of days ago, the employee who was calling out the order numbers was a bit rude when I asked him to repeat himself. (He was talking rather low and the music was on) The chicken is still flavorful though.
