The Society Resturant and Lounge

Nice ambience for brunch. The menu has the basic brunch items I.e. chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits. The remainder menu is not very extensive if you are a foodie. The service was great and the venue was clean and not crowded. If you like a Caribbean cuisine this is a place to try

Service was great. Went for game night on Monday and was pleasantly surprised how fun it was

Just offer the options to be up or downstairs. The food was okay and bottle mimosa were warm

Service was horrible, we waited a hour and a half before receiving food, silverware or drinks. Not to mention, we didn’t know who our server was, no one came to the table except the hostess. The hostess ended up taking our order and stated that our server will be with us momentarily. The hostess came back to the table minutes later and had to retake our drink order because she stated that the server lost the paper with our order on it. We made reservations online for brunch at after we placed our order we were told that brunch was over at We couldn’t get bottomless mimosas due to being told that they ran out of champagne. The people that arrived after us received bottomless mimosas. We asked to speak to a manager several times to discuss our concerns. We were told that she was unavailable and they didn’t know how long before she will be available. We were asked did we want to wait to speak to her in which we stated we did. She never came to the table to address our concerns. Another worker came and addressed our concerns, I really appreciate her excellent customer service and taking care of our concerns in a timely fashion. Once the food finally came, the food was good and well prepared. Due to the poor service, I don’t think we will be back

The atmosphere was phenomenal!! Old School and New School Hip Hop and R&B for the grown folks!! The food was OUTSTANDING! Anytime I am in the DMV, I will come here
