Wimpy's Diner - Simcoe

What an absolute joke. Do not waste your money! My boyfriend and I came in around lunchtime today. I had a burger and fries and he had a waffle combo. My food was great but his food was cold. Typically we would have sent the cold food back but we were literally ignored for most of the time we were there. I had ordered a tea and a water with my meal, she brought me the tea with no hot water, and no cold water to drink. It was bizarre. She eventually brought hot water and then we didn’t see our waitress for about an hour. Another woman brought us our food. When we were finished with our meal, we waited 20 minutes before we could even flag someone down to get us our bill and takeout containers. The funny thing is, there were probably only about 10 tables at the time that we were there. They had 3 wait staff on, but they kept to behind the counter doing utensils and cleaning the blender or what not, completely ignoring everyone. They need to understand that with the economy the way it is, that sometimes one meal out is all a couple can afford, and to be served and treated like this for that one meal, was truly disappointing. Charging 45 dollars for two meals when they aren’t hot is awful. Charging 3 dollars for a tea bag is a joke, especially when the servers don’t seem to care to bring hot water. Will never go back to a wimpys anywhere. Even fast food establishments have better service.

Was ok but cheap with the tarter sauce and refills. Never even asked till was done .and my mom had bug in her drink.

Great breakfast in Simcoe ! Lovely server, I wish I could remember her name!

Simcoe wimpys is a trash restaurant with truly awful management, trust me i know. i wouldn't eat there if i was starving to death.

Service is slow, food was over cooked. We both had breakfast and both proteins were over cooked.
