Numero Uno Pizza - Simi Valley

Wow! Definitely a hit for my family. You have to try the Romano cheese puffs, they are delicious!

We are new to Simi Valley and were delighted to discover a local Numero Uno Pizza. We have visited several times to enjoy their deep dish pizza. The owner is very friendly and the pizza is fantastic. In fact, we went back tonight.

I also ordered from another Numero Uno location in Simi Valley, on East Los Angeles Boulevard. When I called to pick up my order, I arrived just 10 minutes before closing time. I asked if I could sit down and enjoy a piece of pizza before driving home, but was told that they were closed. When I got home and opened the pizza, I found that it looked different from the one in Granada Hills. The tomatoes were small and not cut in half, and the sausages were thinly sliced and not generously placed. The taste was okay, but the texture was not the same. Overall, I was disappointed with the quality of the pizza from the Simi Valley location and I do not plan on returning there. I much prefer the treatment and attention to detail at the Granada Hills restaurant.

It is not common for me to give a five-star rating, but this place definitely deserves it. I had never tried their pizza before, so I decided to try something different. I ordered the meatball sub and it was amazing. The bread was incredibly fresh, the meatballs were light and not dense, and it was really cheesy! I also recently tried the spaghetti with meat sauce, which was just as delicious. I will definitely be ordering from them again in the future!

I really like that they offer food options from different brands at this restaurant. The pizzas are definitely a standout, especially the deep dish ones cooked in a cast iron pan. I also noticed that the sandwiches looked appetizing. The only drawback is that I am giving them 4 stars because the female owner, who is usually present, can be inconsistent in her behavior - sometimes she is friendly and other times she can be rude. However, the food is delicious and they accept EBT, which is a plus.
