No, I'm warning the Laksa. Somehow I can smell the fragrant coconut smell. Should be out of rice. The glowing sun and the heat almost shy away from stepping into a non-air-conditioned food place. This very customizable ipad style of order nasi lemak amazes me. It is every Singaporean's desire to know the price of every single ingredient that goes on your record. The part of each food is generous. Even the free fragrant and lush sambal is served abundantly on 2 slices of juicy cucumber. The peanuts n ikan bilis cracks under your teeth like fireworks. The Curry Veg adds a different kind of spiciness to the mix. Ngoh Hiang is really large and compact. Spacious n clean. It's just that I wish the multiple fans could better set up against the unavoidable heat. If you love coconut, don't hesitate
We had only a very dissatisfied meal at a falcon nearby and we felt quite hungry. By pure chance we went to 363 Katong Laksa and what a big surprise it was. Laksa was delicious. Very creamy and delicious. The Nasi Lemak changes my mind about the court. Before this experience the dish was for quite bland chicken and rice, but here oh my God. It was excellent!!!!!! We have read a sign that the place is closed in January, so hurry to taste their food!!!!
My choice for the best Katong Laksa in SG. The standard portions are quite huge and not so expensive $4.50). Down is that they used to clean shrimp with heads still attached). Would have been a full 5 stars if not for this point. They serve beer today! Great place to hang in HV, it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg.
363 Katong Laksa is now located in the Holland Village hawker centre (from its previous shop front location). The laksa remains as good as ever and still affordable.
