We visited on a quiet weekend evening, having made a reservation, but there were no queues. As with other PS Cafes, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was comfortable. The portion sizes were generous; I ordered the burger with salad on the side.
This is the perfect spot for sticky date pudding, truffle fries, and my personal favorite, the flourless orange cake. The location on Martin Road features unique decor that sets it apart from the other outlets. However, it can feel a bit chilly inside.
Fully booked on Christmas Day. The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, with relaxing music playing in the background. I ordered the P.S. Club Sandwich, which I'd rate 4/5; the Fish and Chips were 4.5/5, and the Flat White coffee was also 4/5. The service was impressive at 4.5/5, and the overall environment deserves a 4/5 rating. The sauce that accompanied the Fish and Chips was particularly special. I will definitely try PS Cafe again at another location.
The atmosphere at Piccolo is fantastic, and the service is excellent. They offer a great 1-for-1 deal on mimosas, which is a perfect way to elevate your weekend experience. While the individual ingredients in the Bunwich are well thought out, they don't quite come together as a cohesive dish. This might be due to the hard buns or the absence of a standout element.
