Used a discount coupon offer here and tried it for the first time. The concept of 4 tiered steamboat is interesting. Bottom pot houses two flavours of steamboat broth, second tier is a BBQ pan, 3rd is a cheese/salted egg dip and the last is a steamer for buns. The variety of dishes available is quite good as they have various seasoned meat and tons of different types of fish balls/ prawn balls etc. there is also seasoned minced meat for soup and fish paste. would suggest for them to add luncheon meat, corn, black fungus, lotus root etc though that is a staple in other steamboat buffets. Great that they have self service ice cream as dessert, and the ice cream is of good quality. Love the green tea flavour especially. Free flow soft drinks/lime juice/water is included too. Paid around $18 nett per pax on a weekend dinner with the coupon. All inclusive. Service is wonderful, a rare sight for budget steamboat buffets. The staff is genuinely approachable and helpful, and always volunteers to assist you and clears your plates frequently. I requested for silken tofu which is in the menu but not available on the counter and a staff actually brought freshly cut ones to me several minutes later! In other places they would have brushed me off. Kudos to the amazing staff indeed, especially to the two ladies (one Singaporean aunty and a Chinese lady).
This is quite a secluded and relatively unknown part of Marina Square but what a jem of a find for a bargain hunter! I used the fave app and enjoyed their porridge buffet (inclusive of desserts) for a nett $8.80. Although there was no seafood dishes for the porridge buffet, there are a couple of meat dishes like stewed pork belly, chicken chunks and curry chicken. Some dishes can be overly oily so don't over indulge and save some room for the ice cream and green bean soup!
Went there on Saturday night and it was full house but service was still good. Use Fave voucher if you want to get a better deal. Very unique 4 layers steamboat.
Reasonably priced for the steamboat and porridge buffet. Best to buy from fave app for further dissount. Had the mini steamboat there are pork meat, one quarter of a hot dog, two fish balls (depending on what is available) , one small crabstick, one black mushroom, a bunch of enoki mushroom and vegetables. Cost me $7.80 from fave.
