Outdoor seating mightve been more comfortable but you might end up fighting with mosquitoes. Food wise it was great. Ordered the vongole clams (not the best in my opinion, too garlicky of a taste, slightly bitter, couldnt really get the wine sauce). Parma ham, salame ham platter. A bit pricey (plate of melon for $18 more), but quality was there. The rock melon was especially sweet n had a good crunch/texture when you bite into it. Star was the beef cappacio, crunchy salad, lemon and mozerella cheese, reasonably priced at 27 too. For bread we had the pizza bianca garlic bread in pizza crust, was a bit chewy but meant to be, super tasty. Mains was the mixed grill, $43. Beef, lamb was amazing. Roasted potatoes and zucchini nice and warm, accompanied the meat very well. Chicken was standard likewise with the pork patty. Had the crab meat angel hair pasta, before you know it the bowl was empty. Dessert had panna cotta, too sweet for my liking due to the accompaniment of the preserved jam/paste. Highlight was the cocktail dessert, lemon sorbet sparkling wine lemoncello. We had to servings , super refreshing and gave a good kick as a digestive, on the pricey side at $18 due to the alcohol. Complementary lemoncello was also given as a service. Total damage was $480, wine ordered was $168, for the amount of food ordered and quality served i would say it is a reasonable amount, but for the 3 of us that were starving, the food was more than enough for ourselves. This was my second time back here and the service was consistently good, lady boss mentioned they were short handed, but it didt really feel that way. Only suggestion would be if they could leave a jug of water on the table as well for us to fill up ourselves instead of hving to wait. Tableware could also be more standard, a mix of color ware did not suit the different dishes. Anyways splendid restaurant and amazing find. One of the best italian food ive had in this island. Must really recommend the pasta.
Love the grilled fish pasta, mushroom soup and bread. Service was brisk when I visited on a weekday afternoon.
The food was delicious, the portions were generous with lots of variety. It’s on the corner of Tanglin just across from Tanglin Mall with a large outdoor seating area. The staff were wonderful I 100% recommend.
Great Italian vibes. Ordered their capellini pasta. $27 for this.
The costoletta ala Milanese is awesomely genuine!
