The dishes were very flavourful and the beef was so tender. Even when we had no rooms for dessert, it called out to us. Just try some, you won't regret. This being a social enterprise needs our support. We will be back.
Absolutely delicious food and great company. The staff are all very friendly and on task. I would describe the place as homely and warm. Great space for gatherings and it is an inclusive space which is lovely. Wish there are more enterprises like this.
Social Enterprise at heart and the food from the heart. Very lovely asian Italian dishes that warms your heart. Please support them guys for making a difference in this world!
This is by far one of the best and most inspiring places to have a meal. The owner Geri, is a delight and her hospitality is beyond compare. The fact that this café also employs Persons with Disabilities giving them meaningful work makes one just want to clap and cheer Geri for everything she does. This place is a must must visit!
Helmed by owner Gerri and volunteers like Rae, this is like dining at a friend’s place, where most everyone knows each other. It also has a social enterprise platform where persons with disabilities are hired, so it is well worth supporting the eatery. As we arrived almost at 9 pm on a Friday, they did not have some of their regular menu items. I opted for the Christmas turkey plate, while my wife had the half Cornish game hen. Both dishes were pretty good, and they meat was flavourful and not dry. We also ordered an aglio olio pasta and it was okay, but could have used a tad more garlic and chilli. We also enjoyed a plate of locally grown salad with tomatos, with a nice lemony vinagrette. We were lucky enough to try a slice of Tiramisu, which my wife enjoyed. It was okay, if a tad pricey at $12.50. Overall, it was a good meal, and the cost, including a tea and a ginger beer, was around $47. Do note they are open till 8 pm from Mondays to Wednesdays, and till 10 pm on Thursdays and Fridays. They are closed on weekends.
