The mash was also another highlight smooth, creamy and with the strong aroma of truffle, paired perfectly with the red wine sauce on the side. An overall enjoyable dining experience!
Not an al fresco guy. But if the weather permits, the place is really nice. Attentive staff and tasty beers, especially the ale. Skip the stout tho. All is great! Except getting there is a hassle. Grab a cab there. Recommended.
Pasta was too dry and duck confetti taste okay. Recommend to order appetiser scallops. Limited staff working hence lack of customer service. Good ambience and drinking space. Indoor seating available when raining.
I have visited this restaurant twice. The atmosphere is great, but the smell of cigarette smoke is always a problem for me. Perhaps having a separate smoking area would help. The prices vary, with the kids' meal being very reasonable at $15 for a pizza, drink, and dessert. However, the aglio olio pasta is overpriced for something so simple. On my second visit, I tried the barramundi, which was well-prepared and worth the price. I requested no salt in my dishes, but it seemed that the fish skin and lobster bisque were pre-seasoned. Overall, the dishes were a bit salty for my taste, but understandable for most people. I also ordered a salad with watermelon, feta, and pomegranate dressing, which was good (I asked for the dressing on the side). The wait staff remembered all my requests and were attentive despite the crowd. They were especially kind to my child, who enjoyed the meal. Overall, it was a win for us!
This restaurant is a great spot for friends and family to enjoy a meal together. The BBQ prawn dish, which includes 4 pieces with some salad, costs $32 and is incredibly soft and succulent. The BBQ squid dish is also delicious and costs $18. You should definitely try the pinto pizza for $22. The wheat beer and stout were also very tasty. Make sure to call ahead for a reservation as the restaurant seems to be very popular and often packed. It can get quite hot inside, so dress appropriately. If you don't like the smell of secondhand cigarette smoke, try to sit away from the main gate as smokers tend to gather there and the cooler fan can pull in the smoke. Hopefully, the restaurant can address this issue in the future.
