It paired wonderfully with the butter naan. 2. The Andhra special fried chicken biryani was generously portioned for two people. It featured fragrant long-grained rice, three pieces of fried chicken, and half of a boiled egg, all packed with flavor.
A friend recommended this restaurant, and it was fantastic! I really enjoyed it. We shared some dishes, including baby corn, eggplants, and their staple naans. They had the perfect amount of spice and elevated the savory flavors. I highly recommend giving it a try!
We ordered punugulu with ginger chutney, steamed rice with podi (aromatic ghee), dal with eggplant curry, and potato curry. As a hospitality professional, I couldn't help but notice the excellent attitude of the service staff. The food arrived hot and fresh from the pan, in generous portions at very affordable prices. The taste was simply heavenly. I took a few pictures to capture the moment. I highly recommend trying the eggplant cooked in sesame paste—once you have some, you won't be able to stop at just one. The mango pickle reminded me of homemade versions we prepare at home—finger-licking good! I even bought a jar from the store next door. Unfortunately, I couldn't post a picture of the gutti vankaya this time, but I'll definitely be back before leaving to take one.
I invited some local friends to enjoy some Indian cuisine, and many of them recommended we try Sankranti. We were all truly impressed by the quality of the spices and the tenderness of the meat. The lamb was incredibly juicy, and the chicken was fresh, which made a noticeable difference. Since my friends preferred milder flavors, we requested to lower the spice level and reduce the salt. Every dish was cooked to perfection, and we could genuinely taste the freshness of the ingredients. The butter prawns were absolutely fantastic! I can't wait to return and explore more of their specialties. The restaurant has a cozy, well-kept atmosphere with a traditional touch. I'm excited to visit again this weekend!
This restaurant is a must-visit for Singapore's only salmon tikka. It is incredibly tender and fresh, just melting in your mouth. The Chicken 65 is also outstanding. The ambiance and hospitality are fantastic. I had the pleasure of being served by Senthil, and it was so refreshing to experience such warm hospitality in Singapore.
