Value for money set lunch. $12.90 with a choice of rice bowl and a soup. Top up $3 for dessert and a tea. Service was great and friendly.

I had dinner at the United Square location and it was a wonderful experience. The food was fantastic, and the service was even better. The staff were all polite and attentive; I wish every restaurant had such excellent service. When my wife asked for a knife to cut the sautéed broccoli we ordered because the pieces were too large to chew, the manager kindly offered to take the broccoli back to the kitchen and have it cut into smaller pieces, even though they didn’t have a knife available. This was done with a smile, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a lovely dinner and we’ll definitely be returning soon.

The Samsui Chicken is fantastic! I visited two decades ago, and it tastes just as great now. The only difference is that the ginger paste is a bit less salty. Great job!

I absolutely love their partnership with Grab, which allows you to order through the app and pick up your food later. The Samsui ginger chicken is definitely a house favorite, along with their fried baby kai lan with dong quai. I ordered a takeaway from this restaurant to enjoy their delicious food at home. I’m especially fond of the ginger scallion sauce—I even ordered an extra box for the next day!
