I love that.so.much the crispy brot on my mouth. recommended traditional food. Just try!
I was first intrigued by the name “bubur gunting” (literally scissoring porridge). Then I found out that its a popular local dessert, the type that you have for tea time after lunch. I love it! Thick sticky clear broth (sweet) with green beans served with fried charkoay (savoury) provides an interesting contrast in the mouth betweeb sweet and savory and between the soft green beans and the crunchy bready charkoay. The stall is a bit hidden and it rans out fast! But this alley seems to have a few bubur gunting stall to fall back on.
The recipe is still delicious. now they offer various Chinese drinks. must try!
Enak, manis, gurih, slime-like, the sensation when you taste it is indescribable.
