Nice cafe, affordable prices (cafe americano 1 EUR, tea 0.9 EUR in December 2018). Good location near train station. Savory and sweet pastry as well as ice cream available with the beverages.
We'd had a coffee at the cafe next door before climbing up to the Pena Palace, and thought we'd try this place after our Palace experience. We had a couple of coffees here which were nice, and ordered a couple of Tuna Baguettes. As we were to discover there wasn't much Tuna in them at all, seemed to be more mayonnaise than anything else. We then decided to go and grab some cod cakes as our filling due to the lack of Tuna, it was then our tastebuds came alive. This place has a nice space and its divided up nicely into smaller eating areas, just a shame about our food. We'd try this place again, but one feels that the whole Sintra experience is just a rort knowing tourists will only visit once and never again.
After walking the whole day, withuot a proper meal, I entered this cafe and had some excellent queijadas and a perfect cup of coffee. The view from the cafe is beautiful! The space is small and cosy. Service could be more friendly, I must say.
Muito bom pastelaria no sintra, tem hambúrgueres muito bons, e a equipe de funcionários muito simpáticos e atenciosos aconselham dar um pouco de salto lá se passarem no sintra.
