Coming back in the evening food was great, service very fast and good. Plenty of parking outside. Highly recommend this restaurant as a way to get out of the hype of sintra town.
Not good at all ... after waiting for over 40 minutes and the food was tasteless . The worst food that we have had in Portugal .
We had organised a meal for about 60 people, as pre weddig celebrations. The venue is small, but outside seating allows lot more space. The place is family run, so they did look after us well. The food was quite nice.
We went back to this lovely restaurant last Saturday to celebrate a special anniversary. It was a rainy evening and the restaurant was not very full at all. The ambience was perfect! Quiet and warm and cozy! The Italian owner was his usual friendly self! From what I understood, he is from Napoli and when he served my companion the Sea food pasta with shrimp and mussels, he actually explained they mix it and eat it back home. I had the penne del Bosch which was penne with mushrooms, zucchini and red peppers in a tomato based sauce, which was perfectly cooked, very light and delicious. My son had a baked spaghetti and sea food dish, that is his favorite! Of course I can’t visit there without enjoying the awesome home made tiramisu! The frozen Nutella dessert was also a good choice! All toasted with a huge glass of sangria! Muito obrigada! Até próxima!
I spent few days in Pestana Golf Club Resort with my family and since we didn't like their restaurant we searched around and found this great restaurant at walking distance. Being Italian, I'm quite choosy with Italian food, but we liked Mammasantissima so much, that we returned next day. Kind and quick service, great food and value for money. Please don't miss Pasta allo Scoglio and Babà napoletano.
