Amazing food and friendly staff! All food is delicious but you should definitely try any fresh fish and the classic Bitoque. I would recommend as a great local and family restaurant!

Great food in this typical Portuguese place. Very good bitoque and the cheese appetizer was also delicious! Strongly recommend this place. Also very cheap.

The story of the best Valentine’s Day ever... My wife and I are traveling and forgot it was Valentine’s Day. We had just arrived in Portugal, it was late at night and we were starving. We looked up a restaurant close to the hotel we were staying at and this place came up. We walked in and was immediately greeted by the staff. We thought we would have a translation issue, but not at all. Everyone spoke very good English. They said they had a custom menu, we weren’t sure why but we were ok with the idea. Then we reached the seats and saw all the heart themed stuff on the table... OH YA... VALENTINES DAY! We were immediately given the custom menu for the night along with a fantastic drink to start. Then we were off, curry shrimp, ginger veal, vanilla gelato with chocolate strawberries, they even took our picture! Which we thought was for the restaurant to post on Facebook. Everything was included in this wonderful meal... including all you can drink alcohol!!! They had live romantic music in the background from a solo guitar player. And everyone in the restaurant was super friendly! Hugs all around, laughs all around, it was truly a family type atmosphere. My wife and I had no idea what we were walking into and kept on smiling and laughing the entire night. This is a memory that we will never forget and 50 years from now will say... remember that random restaurant we chose that ended up being the best decision on the whole vacation, as well as the best Valentine’s Day we will ever have! When we left, they gave us a final taste of Portuguese port wine, chocolates, and the photo they had taken earlier. We will be taking the photo and the menu home to place in our house so we can remember that night as often as possible! Thanks for a wonderful surprise evening! Truly amazing!
