Great Shots - Sioux Falls

This Place Is Wow, from prices to the food, A full bar included. My 6 year Old was able to do it. They have clubs for the younger kids as well.

First time at Great Shots and I was very out of my element but I still had a lot of fun. That staff explained how everything worked and what games we should play as beginners. We also ordered food which was very tasty! As we were getting to the end ofour hour, the system notified us and gave us the opportunity to extend our time with additional 15 minute intervals. We wereable to give a point handicap to the one person who knew how to golf in our group and give bonus points to the kids. It was agood time even for those of us who had no clue what we were doing. The entrance was up 3 sets of stairs but there was anelevator to the right of the steps for folks who can't climb up. Over all, we had a good time. Would recommend for a fun time ifyou never have golfed or you are a frequent golfer.

Showed up and was told there was a 45 minute wait (totally fine, though there were at least 10 open bays). Went to the bar with credit cards in hand and waited patiently for 15 minutes as the tender served everyone except us. He started walking away and we asked if we could be served, he yelled as he was walking away that he'd be back in 10 minutes and left. So we did too.

I've been to other great shots and this one is on the lower scale. The sensors in the balls sometimes works and sometimes didn't. I feel the game are not as fun or engaging as others I've been to. The guys inside were not very welcoming or friendly but the server outside was fantastic.

While the food was excellent the actual golf wasn’t. With every swing it is a game of is the ball a good ball or a bad one. The measurements are also very inaccurate and inconsistent. Measurements are stopped at the halfway point of the balls travel at times. This is extremely frustrating as it impedes on play and ruins competition. The machine also failed to send a ball multiple times during our stay. For a city without a TopGolf, this will just have to do for those unwilling or unable to travel. I truly believe this place has the potential to be good, but at the current moment, if you are looking for a quality experience, it wasn’t here for us.
