Texas Roadhouse - Sioux Falls

Been visiting Texas Roadhouse since 2014. The last few years the quality at Sioux Falls Texas Roadhouse has definitely declined. I don't know why they ask how you want your steak done as it is always well done even if you ask medium rare. I guess the biggest reason is that their steaks are so thin that by the time you get a sear on the outside it is well done inside. I have been to others in Texas, Maine, Nevada and California and have not experience the same. My previous experience (about 2 years ago at Sioux Falls) was also similar to yesterday. I promised myself then to never go back. I think I will now stick to that.

Food is always good. I love being able to call ahead because it's always crazy busy here. Could do without the birthday hoot'n n hollerin every 5 minutes but that's their thing.

Finally, got some today! No line, no waiting! Food was good, those Grand Patron Margaritas! Randi, the meaning of Customer service! Definitely, one of the best places in Sioux Falls to eat! Went back on my Birthday, food was still great! Blooming onion was delicious!

The food and service was amazing! The environment can’t even be explained in words. It was extraordinary. For example, while visiting with family, there was a little girl who began choking on her food and the wait-staff began to act quickly. Within seconds, the piece of food was free and the little girl was okay. The waiter had given them a free dessert and had comped the entire table’s meal. Not only did they do that, they had helped clean her up and comforted the girl, making sure she was okay. One waitress sat with her until she stopped crying and told the little girl she handled it so well. The waitress even offered her a hug. The wait-staff was incredible with handling the situation calmly and collectively. The little girl didn’t panic as much as she would’ve had anyone reacted differently. She was terrified but the staff insured that her visit would turn out better. It also wasn’t just the staff that stepped up to help either! People from nearby tables got up to help and had asked the family if there was anything they could do, my family included. This is a prime example of the kind of dining environment that I want to be included in, people willing to be kind and help people in need even though they don’t have to. They couldn’t have handled the situation any better! Overall, 10/10 experience.
