Boathouse On The Bay - SISTER BAY

After a walk in the morning in the penninsula state park was our group for a good lunch hungry. we found what we were looking for at the boathouse on the bay. this place was highly recommended by relatives who had previously visited. her recommendation was not disappointed. I had the Walleye special. my wife had the cloaks. both were slightly dusted and fritted for perfection. both were delicious. a lot of space on the plate also for portion sizes. the rest of the group was competing. Don't forget the drinks. long insate, bloodys and other drinks were on site thanks to the captain and the rest of the crew for a great lunch. when we return to the door county, it will definitiw a return to boathouse on the bay.

We had a group of 5 and enjoyed good eating, friendly, fast service and an entertaining atmosphere. I ordered walleye, and it was cooked nicely, but the crust was usual. my friend had the lobster roll and it was full of lobster. she said it was delicious.

The dining experience here is wonderful, complemented by delightful drinks and a stunning view! The boathouse atmosphere is enjoyable, conveniently located right off Highway 42, offering beautiful water views from both the upper and lower terraces, providing plenty of seating options. They feature a wide variety of seafood dishes, and the drink menu is exciting; the cherry margarita is an ideal choice for a refreshing cocktail!

If I had to choose just one place to eat in Door County, it would definitely be this one. The lobster roll is absolutely amazing. When you pair it with some cheese curds and mac and cheese, you won't want to dine anywhere else! We also had a great time chatting with Mike and Carol at the bar. The service was excellent, the food was fantastic, and the view was spectacular!

The food and beverages were outstanding! Everyone working was very friendly and the food came out in a timely fashion. I will definitely be coming back.
