Our party of four enjoyed good salads and a delicious cream of mushroom soup to start. Our entrees included the lamb, filet mignon, strip steak and the pork chop. All were nicely prepared and presented plus quite delicious. The service was friendly but unobtrusive. Altogether, a very nice dinner!
Food was delicious, got a New York strip and mushroom ravioli with my wife, great service and wonderful atmosphere, if I make it back up to door county I will be stopping here again.
Food was very good but my wife and I both ordered the filet and had small portions of the filet that were too fatty to eat. Everything was cooked as requested and tasted good. Prices are a touch high for the setting, in my opinion, but not outrageous.
The server was polite and items came quickly. The new decor seems to have increased the bar space and taken a few tables from the main dining room. Food was tasty as it always is. The lower overall rating comes from the increased prices. Sadly, Chop has priced itself out of the locals dinner budget. If you're used to Chicago pricing, you'll be right at home.
Stellar as always! Fresh, warm popovers greeted us at our table, too. Loved the new menu. Never had the scallops before, always defaulted to the steaks... glad I adventured into something new... you would be too...
