Northern Grill Pizza - SISTER BAY

I had a late lunch at this restaurant on a chilly winter day. They had a variety of homemade soups to choose from. My friend and I decided to try the Packer Backer, which was a delicious kielbasa hoagie sandwich. The coleslaw was also very tasty. Our server was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be returning to try more items from their menu.

Every time we visit Door County, we make sure to stop by the Northern Grill on our first night. This year was no different. The wait staff was incredibly friendly, even though they were short-staffed. The desserts, especially the cherry pie and cheesecake, were particularly delicious.

The food and service were satisfactory, although the restaurant seemed to be short-staffed. The garlic bread was more like garlic toast served with cold marinara sauce. The pasta pomodoro was decent. The restaurant is conveniently located across the street from Piggly Wiggly. The ambiance was nice, especially with the use of wooden skis as window trim.

Great place! Stopped in for lunch and had ‘The Moose’ burger. Excellent burger and chatted with Ron, one of the owners, for a bit. Super nice guy and the place had a very nice atmosphere. Highly recommend you pop in when in Sister Bay.

We love the Northern Grill. We go to Door County for a few days most months. My favorite item on the menu is the white fish pizza. It may sound weird, but it’s delcious. All of their pizza is delicious, but that’s my favorite. We’ve never had a bad meal or poor service. We especially enjoyed the outdoor bar in the summer before dinner.
