Skåbu Fjellhotell - Skaabu

The room itself is perfect. not too big, not cramped. the bathroom is compact, but beautiful and very sufficient. the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful in every way possible. by far the best service I have ever met. the restaurant is cozy and eating is great. would recommend this hotel to everyone!

We had a very nice stay in this hotel. the friendliness of the staff is extraordinary! the room (suite) was very spacious and beautifully decorated. we wanted us to stay a little longer, because there is so much to do as to foot, animal farm, pots, sight tower. the restaurant is amazing. compliments to cook! also the owner really knows his weeping. unfortunately he had not had us with a certain wein (which was recommended for the cursor) that it costs 280 nok for 1 glass. If we had known this in advance, we would not have accepted it. so make sure they check the price first. or even better, they should inform them first. but even if we had this unexpected high price, our general feeling still remains very positiw.

Great service. Eating is simply michelin star levels. all staff and the owners were very friendly. I ran into some inconveniences that were not the fault of the hotel, and brought them up and the owners were very accommodating and helped me over and beyond what was expected.

We had the most amazing two nights! everything from amazing, friendly service to high quality food and drink – we were so impressed by everything. the owners and employees make them welcome and go beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. highly recommended. Thank you!

Our stay at the Skåbu Fjellhotell was AMAZING! Hosts Jannicke and Henrik took a very personal interest to ensure that our stay was comfortable and memorable, including guided hikes of the surrounding beauty, a stream-side hot lunch next to a fire and an amazing tour of the family farm that we won't soon forget : The hotel staff delighted us with amazing food and superhuman willingness to answer our never ending questions about Skåbu and Norway. I give the Skåbu Fjellhotell my highest recommendation and hope to be again soon for a longer stay.
