The Steamboat - Skegness

The menu at this restaurant is not particularly impressive, with only a few vegan options available. Unfortunately, the dishes we tried were not very flavorful and seemed quite basic. We ordered cauliflower bites, jäger pork, and chocolate cake.

This pub offers a great vegan Sunday roast and a variety of other vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu. The vegan burger, however, is best avoided as it is not good. This review was updated on May 16, 2022.

The menu at this restaurant offers a few vegan options, but unfortunately, our choices were not very impressive in terms of taste. We started with cauliflower bites, followed by hunters chicken, and finished with the delicious chocolate & raspberry torte. Although the hunters chicken was supposed to come with vegan coleslaw, it was missing from our order (which we only realized after we had almost finished our meal). Our dining experience was further dampened by the attitude of the front of house employee, who made a big deal about the difference between allergies and veganism when we stated our dietary preferences. While I understand the distinction, there was no need for the rudeness displayed by the employee.

This lovely pub offers a fantastic vegan Sunday roast and a variety of other vegetarian and vegan dishes on their menu. However, I would recommend steering clear of the vegan burger as it was quite disappointing. (Reviewed on 2022-05-16)

A nice pub with a very good vegan Sunday roast and lots of other vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. Avoid the vegan burger though, it's not good at all... Updated from previous review on 2022-05-16
