Hayes' - Skibbereen

We have been on a mission through Ireland for the perfect seafood chowder. This place has been recommended by our hosts and i must say it did not disappoint. We had a main serving of mussels in cream sauce and chowder and boy it was great. The seafood was so tender and juicy the sauce creamy and rich in flavor. The drive was definitely worth our while. We highly recommend this place

I recommend this place. We had the mussels and the fish pie. The prices are higher than average, but it’s worth it. The service was kind, and the cherry on the cake was the amazing sunset.

We sat outside and had a lovely meal, while taking in the gorgeous view.

As usual with Glandore, there was a great buzz here, lots of outdoor seating, and a decent menu with plenty of options. I ordered the mussels, it was very tasty and there were plenty of them. The only thing to note here is that we couldn't order a side of chips as they don't do chips. We were just surprised by this. Overall, I would recommend it.

The aroma that rose from the Mexican soup from the fresh coriander on top lent itself to be the most aromatic presentation of food in a restaurant in months! Service excellent.Atmosphere, slightly quirky with facilities located in the yard but all very clean.
