Zhivago - Skokie

We are newer to the neighborhood and have been wanting to try Zhivago for some time. We finally decided to try it out on a Friday evening, but as we walked in we realized the restaurant was closing up. We said we could leave but we were told that the ovens could be fired back up! We were the only people in the entire restaurant so we had top notch service! The disco light and string lights were put on, the music was turned up, and our kids danced the night away. The food was fabulous and the conversation with Luba was wonderful. Thanks to Luba and Alex for accommodating our late night dinner and providing entertainment for our children. We can’t wait to return!

Maybe our the best time because atmosphere amazing and friendly staff makes you so glad. Duck and house potatoes make me feel, but also we have gourmet sampler and mushrooms zhuliene , and Bomba chocolate for dessert. !!!

Our meals were fabulous. We ordered the duck with cherry sauce and the beef tenderloin. Absolutely delicious!

My day so good because we had perfect prefix menu dinner and great service and also music band. Food so good (lamb , brisket, blinis w red and black caviar and definitely Napoleons w vanilla baltik ice cream)

It was extremely disappointing experience, service was very slow, ambiance was not welcoming. The place was stock in 90s and definitely didn't worth the drive.
