La Puerta - Skopje

La Puerta used to be my favorite place for years, however recently the burritos have been poorly made with few and not fresh ingredients. I believe they do not say in advance if some ingredients are out, so they will just put whatever they have left, especially in the evening. Some of the employees are super sweet, but others got mad because we ordered at 9.30 saying that it's close to closing hours, when there is an hour and a half until closing. I still love the vibe of La Puerta dearly, but in the center location specifically the quality varies immensely. You may get a great burrito or you may get a flavorless one with barely any sauce or spice (even though I deliberately asked for it).

They gave me an old cripsy burrito which was staying there and the chips were soft and inedible. The burrito was just destroyed at some point and the ingredients got all out of the buritto. I asked where the salt is and the employee was very rude basically not doing her job. Would not recommend.

Really good authentic Mexican food, the Californian chicken burrito and the Jalapeño one are my favourites. The people working there are also very nice and welcoming, and will treat you great!

La Puerta is a great spot in Skopje when it comes to delicious and affordable Mexican food. The Californian burrito with chicken is a standout item, but the veal and veggie options are also excellent. The friendly staff and colorful interior make for a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Total catastrophy! First of all, the staff was very unhelpful, unpleasant and overall rude. The food was horrible- a bunch of cold leftovers rolled in a dry and cold store bought pancake. Didn't even bother to melt the cheese inside, and the taste was disgusting and nothing close to Mexican! Do not, I repeat DO NOT go to this place if you want to enjoy your food! Worst experience ever.
