This place is very suitable for a semi fine dining experience. Offers variety of food whether asian or western food. Pricing for food is considered moderate in my opinion. Compared to other restoran that offers the same kind of food around this area, the pricing here is a bit cheaper. However just for your FYI..the bakery section has moved, they no longer served breads here.
A nice cafe but they have halved the cafe to half the size now, hence, it is a smaller now compare to earlier size. The menu has also changed. They don’t serve food anymore. Is still a cozy place to have a cup of coffee and a piece of cake to rest and relax. They have a good spread of assortment of bread and cakes. The Japanese cheese cake is worth a try.
Good Points: Spacious, airy and clean premises. Food well presented. Espresso was excellent. Bad Points: Service: staff like extras in a zombie movie. Taste of food fell a long way short of its appearance. Menu had a lot of items which I was told were permanently unavailable. If this is then at least indicate this on the menu. Very annoying to order two items only to be told they were permanently unavailable. Would I go again? Only for a coffee, definitely not for a meal.
I am having afternoon tea here. Wanted to have some bread. Told the counter girl to put on plate but she refused. She insisted to put in individual plastic bag. I don't understand why can't they just take plate from bistro. We try to reduce plastic bags mah... reducing waste creation. The waiter also do not greet people and do not smile.
